I’ve just gone through the entire manuscript of The Girl Who talked Too Much, and have inserted every photo and caption into their places, and read every word again. I think it’s ready. And I think it’s gook. I hope you’ll agree.
You know how when you’ve been working hard, and take a break…..
how your body takes the opportunity to take some time off? Well, mine did, and I’ve had the first cold in years these past few days. But it’s working its way through, and I’m still working. I’ve been placing all the illustrations in the manuscript, and now I’m reading carefully back through it. I’ll be done in a day or two, and that time I send it in, they can start working on it in earnest.
And another review…
“I am loving this book! I’m enamored with Kippy, who has many challenges, yet lives a good life. Written with compassion and humor, it drew me in immediately. It’s a good read. I recommend it!”

Another beta reader had this to say about my new book…

Here’s a review from a beta reader…
5 Stars!
“What a great book! I couldn’t put it down! Strongly recommend to anyone with a special-needs family member. A good read. Shows how an intellectually disabled child can grasp things in ways we would never have known.”
Mary Lynn Beaumont
I’m excited!
I just re-edited the entire manuscript and sent it off. It’s amazing how many double periods and double-spaces had crept in there without my noticing. I also tightened it up a good bit, moved a few things around. I understand what they mean about never being really finished….. But I have to say that no matter how many times I re-read it, I don’t get tired of it. I hope that means you’ll enjoy it too!
Here’s another review of my upcoming book
“I have a disability, and work in the self-advocacy field. I recommend this worthwhile and interesting book, which gives a true perspective, without sugar-coating, on living with someone who has a disability. It covers the easy and the hard moments and will give new insight to anyone curious about the world of disabilities. It’s a great read!”
Molly Kirkham, Legislative Policy Advocate, the Arc of Colorado
Another review for my new book
“A wonderfully written true story of Kippy, who had IDD and Tourette’s Syndrome, by the sister who became her guardian. The true-life joys, disappointments, and exasperations make this story relatable to any parent or family member of a sibling with a disability. I would recommend this book to anyone in such a relationship or who works with individuals with a disability.”
Shirley A. Balogh, President and CEO of the Alliance for Independence (Retired)
